Album Story:

The album is called “Redigging the Wells” because of a prophetic calling John’s home church has been pursuing for over 20 years. They have been contending for another move of God like what happened through John Wimber and the Vineyard movement. There were spiritual wells that a past generation drank from, but many in this current day have never tasted those waters. Today, many people have never even heard of what God did back then, and even fewer have experienced it. The early Vineyard movement was marked by a revelation of the Kingdom of God that came with a profound demonstration of God’s supernatural power and mercy. It was also marked by a kind of worship that had never been heard before—worship that ushered in the Presence of God and called people into the pursuit of an intimate relationship with God. Those simple songs of love resonated with hearts of people around the globe and radically impacted their lives. As a church family, The River has been actively contending for those wells of the Vineyard.

This album is all about capturing the sound of our pursuit over the years. God has rewarded our pursuit in glorious ways, and this album is about sharing the water from these wells. It’s a combination of the old with new things that God has been doing now in our midst. We pray that the album will be a blessing to you and bring you into deep encounters with His Presence that transform you.
